Team Spotlight—Get to Know Chiara

With a passion for digital marketing and social media, our Marketing Manager Chiara is also on fire for yoga, travel and much more. In the team interview, she talks about her job at Tapkey, how it differs from other employers, as well as who, dead or alive, she would like to meet.

 

What does your job entail?

I am responsible for all Marketing Activities regarding Tapkey. From blog posts, any social activities as well as SEO and website management, I am behind it.

 

What do you like most about your job?

Definitely the diversity. It never gets boring around here, and I LOVE it! From strategy to diving deeper into new topics and trends, every day is slightly different. I never stop learning and get to challenge myself by trying new things.

 

What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?

Nobody knows all. And saying you don’t know something, is not a weakness, but a strength. 

 

What separates Tapkey from other employers?

I haven’t felt so seen and heard in any other company as I do here at Tapkey. Discussions happen at eye level and everybody is welcome to question the status quo. The flat hierarchy certainly plays a big role in that. 

 

What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

I spend time with my friends or doing and teaching yoga, and I love love love to travel.

 

What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?

I did ballet for nearly 15 years. Without having a sense of rhythm and with two left feet.

 

Do you have a motto or personal mantra?

Be kind. You never know what someone is going through. 

 

If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

J.R.R. Tolkien—I have a few questions regarding the Lord of the Rings.

 

What is the one thing, you can’t live without?

It’s bad, but I couldn’t live without my phone. And chocolate.

 

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Definitely teleportation.
