Heat, electricity, smart city and autonomous driving: These were the main topics at the “Municipal Services of General Interest in Digital Transformation” congress, to which the Pullacher Geothermal Energy Company (IEP) invited us on Monday, 12th November.
Armed with chestnuts and mulled wine, visitors were able to find out about various products and services in the field of smart home and smart city. Of course, the IEP represented itself with a large stand where, in addition to district heating, a new regional electricity product was presented. Also Lozuka, a regional department store and Christeva, limescale protection systems were on site.
The evening was rounded off with exciting presentations and a panel discussion with Mayoress, Susanna Tausendfreund, Gilbert Hödl (Tapkey), Thomas Menthe (Amazon Web Services), Anna Christmann (MoP of the Green Party), Helmut Mangold (IEP) and many more.
Tapkey was able to arouse the interest of the citizens with the speech “Smartphone-based access or how do I drive my neighbor’s car?”. It’s not surprising, because car sharing is an important component of a sustainable mobility policy. On the one hand, the acquisition costs are eliminated and, on the other hand, the vehicle is used to its full capacity In most cases, self-owned cars are used inefficiently. Did you know that a car sharing vehicle is able to replace between 9 – 13 cars? * That means less traffic and less pollution.
The highlight of the evening: Gilbert Hödl handed over a car sharing box to Pullach’s first Mayoress, Susanna Tausendfreund. The smart mobility solution is based on the Tapkey access software. The car sharing box will be safely positioned in the vehicle. The muncipality of Pullach can now share the mayoress’ ca. Simply assign access rights in the app and open the car with your smartphone. Happy sharing!
