Team Spotlight—get to know Martina

From HR and the back office to process optimisation and workshops, our Martina is a true all-rounder. In our Team Spotlight interview, she tells us about her job, what it’s like to work at Tapkey and answers some very *important* questions such as what she’d choose as a superpower.

What does your job entail?

I’m the HR and Backoffice Manager. My job is incredibly diverse, ranging from keeping the office up and running to dealing with all HR-related issues. I also tweak processes and love to be an optimiser. I opened the office’s internal travel agency, run workshops and like to spread a little Chi-Chi throughout the company.

What do you like most about your job?

The multifaceted nature of the role, the rapid visibility of activities and optimisations, the short decision-making processes and each individual team member.

What is the toughest part of your job?

Printing out things.

What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?

It’s not the job title that matters; it’s the tasks you’re passionate about!

What separates Tapkey from other employers?

What’s a fun fact about you that many people may not know?

My ONE job in the morning is to bring 4 things with me when I leave the house: my wallet, my smartphone, my mask and my other smartphone. I always manage to bring 2 of them!

Do you have a motto or personal mantra?

“You’re allowed to be both. A masterpiece and a work in progress at the same time”

If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

My past self to tell her to enjoy every stupid decision she made. Life has its way of taking care of it.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Due to a fear of flying, I’d like to be able to transport myself between continents. Ideally with a time travel upgrade.
